(Question 1)

(a) Islam is beautiful and loves beauty. Many good things and rules are
explained in Islam. However, countries with Islamic status are often
described as having a bad image in terms of cleanliness. What is the
cause of environmental pollution and state your method as the individual
responsible for addressing the issue.

(b) Misconceptions about Islam spread among Muslims and non-Muslims. It is

due to western mass media propaganda about Islam which is associated
with violence, bigotry and harm. Describe internal factors and external
factors for misunderstanding of Islam. As a national leader, how do you
deal with this issue?

(Question 2)

(a) An excellent Muslim must always ensure his lifestyle according to

everything required by Allah SWT. Explain the definition of ihsan according
to the Islamic view and list the distribution of ihsan. Apart from ihsan
tasawur Islam also needs to be understood and appreciated by Muslims.
List FIVE (5) characteristics of Islamic mysticism and its definition briefly.

(b) Islam is known as a religion that organizes a way of life that includes faith,
worship, muamalah and so on. It also has its own principle known as
Maqasid al-Syariah. State the principles of Maqasid al-Syariah that you
have studied, explain why Islam requires Shariah law with appropriate
examples.

(Question 3)

(a) Hadith of the Prophet SAW which means "The best thing is simplicity".
How Wasatiyyah can cultivate good morals for parents in educating
children. State FIVE (5) advantages of the implementation of Wasatiyyah
to children.

(b) As a leader he must be an important person in every matter. What will

happen if Muslim leaders do not focus on Maqasid al-Syariah in their daily
lives? List FIVE (5) importance of Maqasid al-Syariah in governance.

(Question 4)

(a) Akidah is the mainstay of a Muslim. If the faith is damaged, then the
Muslim religion is damaged. State THREE (3) other names for the science
of akhidah and THREE (3) the purpose of learning akhidah.
(10 marks)

(b) A true Muslim is a Muslim who is always redho with everything that has
been determined. However, they need to strive in balancing life in this
world and in the hereafter. Many Muslims live in prosperity and luxury.
There are a few who abuse property for the use of immorality and luxury to
the extreme. As a preacher, how do you convey advice to them so as not
to fall into the group of those who are ungrateful.

(a) The use of mass media is becoming more widespread now. It is the main
medium in getting current news. Lately, the issue of baby abandonment
has been on the rise. As a student, what are your actions to address this
issue and state your advice to your friends who have fallen into this valley.

(b) Intoxicating things are forbidden in Islam. As a student leader, what are
your steps in tackling the issue of drug and alcohol illicit use among
students?
