Description of Information Sought

There are many advertisement in the social media that RCI registeration is required for doing General
counselling like Pre Marital counselling,Post Marital counselling,Love counselling,Anxiety
counselling,Depression counselling, Student counselling pertaining to normal population.
Hence the following may be clarified.

Sl.No. - Whether RCI registeration is required for doing general counselling like Pre Marital
counselling,Post Marital counselling,Love counselling,Anxiety counselling,Depression counselling, Student
counselling pertaining to normal population?

Sl.No.02- RCI is concerned about persons with disability and special education to people with disability or
it is concerned with General Counselling also.

Sl.No.03. Whether it is mandatory for BSC Psychology,MSC Psychology students to undergo training
under a RCI registered practitioner to start doing counselling to Normal population.

Sl.No.04. Whether there is any LAW that the students pertaining to BSC (Psychology),Msc(Psychology, BA
& MA in Psychology will get job opportunities if they complete short term courses conducted by RCI
registered practitioners on General counselling.

Sl.No.05. Whether RCI registeration is required in India for doing General Counselling as stated in the first
paragraph.
