This action research is an endeavor to
assess the impact of the specialization
mismatch for faculty members of the
Sisters of Mary of Banneux, Inc.
Particularly, the researchers aim to
answer the research questions below:
1. What are the problems
encountered by the teachers in
managing mismatched subjects
in terms of:
a. preparation of the lessons
b. demonstration of skills
c. discussion of the subject’s
content

mismatch impact the academic
performance and interest of the
This action research attempts to
assess the impact of specialization
mismatches on faculty members in
SMBI. The researchers will measure
the teaching skills of the former and
present teachers who experienced
specialization mismatches as they
worked at SMBI. In addition, the
present study will explore the
problems encountered in teaching the
mismatched subject.
This action research on the impact of
the specialization mismatch among the
SMBI faculty members will benefit the
teachers involved, the students’ and
their academic performance, and the
institution in general.
Teaching courses in which teachers
are experts is an ideal working
condition for teachers and important
for a high-quality education system
(Hobbs and Torner, 2019). As a matter
of fact, teaching outside areas of
expertise brought complex challenges,
and teachers express concern and
apprehension when dealing with this
situation. Teachers’ lack of confidence
when teaching topics outside their
scope of knowledge is also manifested
(Mizzi, D. 2013). Teachers are indeed
very crucial in any educational
institution(Valenzuela, 2019). Teachers
are very essential in achieving the
school’s mission, vision, and goals. An

This action research is an attempt to
propose a prototype about the Anti-
dandruff for the students of Sisters of
Mary of Banneux, Inc. Specifically, the
researcher aims to answer the
research questions below:
1. What are the difficulties or
problems encountered by the
students suffering from
dandruff?
2. How do calamansi shampoo
help the students as the
alternative shampoo?
3. What is the level of efficiency of
calamansi shampoo?
This action research aims to develop a
prototype of calamansi shampoo for
students. The researchers will
measure the effectivity of calamansi
shampoo in the SMBI. In addition, the
present study will explore the
problems that they are experiencing
from the original shampoo that they
are using.
This study is beneficial for students
who are suffering from dandruff. It can
provide their hair with the best care.
Additionally, it benefits students who
are having problems with their hair
and the environment because it
doesn’t contain chemicals, yet it
contains only naturals.
This action research helps the
students of SMBI community.
Also, it promotes hair growth,
moisturizing effect anti-splitting
effect, and softening effect.
One of the problems
encountered by the students is
hair dandruff from the shampoo
that we are using.

class. Specifically, the researchers aim
to answer the research question
below:

especially TVET teachers, in
administering paper and pencil
exams as to:
a. Retrieval of papers
b. Checking
c. Recording of scores

the e-exam in addressing
problems with traditional forms
of examination?

This action research aims to develop
an “e-exam” for the teachers,
especially those who are in the TVET
class. The researchers will explore the
problems that the teachers are
encountering in administering paper
and pencil exams. Also, the
researchers will measure the
understanding of the teachers on the
significance of the use of “e-exam.”
Lastly, the researchers will observe the
difficulties that the students and
teachers will encounter in utilizing “E-
exam.”
The proposed “E-exam” in the Sisters
of Mary School in Biga II, Silang,
Cavite would be beneficial for the
students, teachers, school
administrators, and curriculum
developers. It can help the teachers to
reduce paperwork and allow them to
check it easily. Additionally, it can help
the institution prepare the grades of
the students in a faster way.
From 2001 to 2019, a total of 386
million hectares of forest were lost
globally (in all forest types combined).
This loss represents an almost 10%
decrease in tree cover since 2000, and
42% of all global wood harvest is used
to make paper (The World Counts,
2013). Meanwhile, paper usage is
steadily increasing year over year.
93% of raw materials for paper
production come from trees, and a
tree can produce 8000 white pages (S.
Jiang, 2021). The excessive
manufacturing of papers resulted in
emission of harmful gases into the
environment that affect the health of
the public. The “E-exam” will help the
institution minimize the use of paper
to lessen the garbage around the
campus. It can help teachers, school
