Explore New Possibilities

Our environmentally neutral system lends itself to even the most remote or sensitive locations

Mature & low pressure reservoirs Injector wells

Endurance hydraulic screen is the ideal solution Maintain borehole support and near wellbore
when, in a low bottom hole pressure environment, stability throughout injection and shut-in. Protect
circulating a gravel pack is not an option. injection performance by effective placement of
filter cake treatment before screen activation.
Zonal selectivity and ease of well intervention for
added assurance.

HPHT
Horizontal & Multi-lateral wells
Stimulate the filter cake ahead of activation and
benefit from completion strength that is not subject Complete more complex wells with greater
to mechanical failure when the reservoir is depleted ease and less risk, when gravel packing isn’t an
over time. option.

Deep water and Shallow Reservoirs Heavy Oil applications

Eliminate the time and complexity of gravel packing, Benefit from completion strength, preventing the
removing pumping operations in wells with small loss of sand integrity when greater drawdown
pore pressure / fracture gradient window. loadings occur when extracting hydrocarbons with
high viscosities, especially under ESP conditions.

Exceeding Client Expectations
“…Darcy and Statoil both recognise this as a major milestone and industry first, using Hydraulic Screen technology as the primary sand control
system in a low bottom-hole pressure and logistically challenged environment…”
Press Release, post Darcy installation success May 2015

“…The Darcy crew displayed above standard dedication to the performed operations, not only wrt. their own equipment but also providing advice,
support and QC-checks for other third party suppliers….”
“…Proactive and hands-on DARCY representatives onshore during whole detailed planning phase (from January to May), and also during
execution phase……Quick response on mail and actions from meetings…Cost estimate, risks and suggested improvements to DOP`s and
operation was provided according to deadline set...Very good work...”
Statoil D&W Engineers, May 2015

“…Overall Darcy have been available at all times and more than willingly to help, assist, explain and cooperate in the planning phase….Statoil is
very pleased with the work performed both on- and offshore, during planning, execution as post job analysis/AAR…”
Statoil D&W Engineer, Sept 2015

“…[Well] came in 7 days sharp, 3,2 days (or roughly 31%) below budget, with 7 ea. Darcy screens installed. This makes [Well] the 2nd fastest
completion in [license] history (after [well], the first Darcy well),and sets a new benchmark for what can be achieved…”

Endurance Hydraulic Screen® - Burst and Collapse Testing (ISO 17824)

Burst and Collapse testing of the 6 5/8” Darcy screen system was conducted at Stress Engineering’s facility in Houston, as per ISO 17824.

System Collapse (activated)

 6 5/8” Hydraulic Screen was initially tested to 5,061psi without failure of the screen.
 Dispensation was given by Stress Engineering to increase the rating of the test cell.
 A second test was conducted and an increased pressure rating of 6,152psi successfully applied to the screen.
 Both tests were successfully completed with no loss of sand control as specified by the ISO standard.

System Collapse (activated)

 The burst test was conducted and loss of sand control occurred at 1,312 psi.

Endurance Hydraulic Screen® - Crush Testing
 To simulate geomechnical loading that could occur downhole.
 The chambers proved their ability to maintain pressure integrity in all tests.

Endurance Hydraulic Screen® - Variable Bore and Eccentricity

 Demonstrate the screen will conform to a well bore of variable diameter and eccentricity.

 A simulated gauge hole (approx. 8.681”)

 A simulated washed out hole diameter (approx. 9.75”)
 An oval hole 1.1 times the gauge hole diameter (8.50” – 9.35”)

 The screen activation was completed successfully across all casing

fixtures with satisfactory compliance achieved.
