When we talk about Paschal’s Mystery, we are referring to God’s plan of

salvation which was ultimately fulfilled through four events in Christ’s life which are His
Passion his suffering and crucifixion, resurrection, and ascension. It is indeed that the
life that we received from God has dignity, it was given by God out of his love. Yet we
have corrupted this dignity because of our sins, and so God didn’t want us to lose this
dignity forever. Thus, He sent His only Begotten Son to save us.
As we share our own Paschal’s mystery experiences, we have realized that the
trials, suffering, and even devastation that we encounter represent our pattern of life.
This pattern may vary as both good and bad happens to us or around us. One thing
that I have noticed while we were sharing is that we have similar paschal’s mystery
experiences. We all know that losing someone we love is one of the toughest
challenges that we may experience in our journey in life. We, humans, have a difficult
time accepting reality oftentimes. Therefore, what we do is blame others for our pain
and suffering. This relates to me, when I was in junior high school my grandmother
passed away due to cancer. I was at my lowest at that time because she was the one
who took care of me from the day I was born into this world. I suffered from depression
and because of this, it changed my relationship with God. I become distant and blamed
everything on him. After several weeks, I have received good news which has changed
our lives and that is when my mom told me that she was pregnant. There I understand
that our life is full of “losses and deaths”, but God taught us to live our lives fully and not
to grief suffering that life brings to us.
Life isn’t made up of just rainbows and butterflies and happiness and bliss. In
contrast with that we need to go through problems and challenges; for it is only through
these that we get to know the true essence of life.
