1.

Look
- Upon looking at the artwork, I have observed that the medium of it is a canvas. The artwork is a
painting installation. I would describe this artwork as depicting how people spend their free time
at the park in Paris. The artwork is conceptual for me, it is not that minimal, and the people
present in it are mostly from Paris. The artwork uses warm colors, mostly red, yellow, and
orange. It also uses the cool color green. And lastly, neutral colors like white, black, and grey.

See
- The symbols I can see in the artwork are the statue, the trees, and the birds. Those symbols can
give the viewer an idea as to what part of Paris is this from. With the depiction of the people, I
can say that they are depicted as taking a rest from everything and enjoying life. I can also say
that when it comes to emotions, I can feel something like it is light. It makes me feel happy to
see this artwork presented in a way like it's just a photo taken candidly. This artwork reminds me
of techniques from other famous artists of the Impressionism era.

Think
- As a context I can, I would say it's all about living the Parisian life. Since this artwork was made
in a park in France, it represents how people live in France. The artist of this artwork is Martino
Abellana. He is from Cebu. The artwork was made in 1985. For me, the artist made this artwork
to let other people see other places through art. The way it is painted presents how simple
everything was before, no gadgets, just people in the park. Unlike before when we go to parks,
most people will just be on their phones.
2. From my experience of my museum visit, it opened my mind more to our culture. It helped me
give importance to what we have to be proud of. It made me appreciate more artists who spent
their whole lives making something for the people to see and to pursue their passion. It made
me realize how important we must be in preserving not just historical artifacts, but also artworks
as artworks can also tell stories, rich stories, about our history. The museum visit also made me
want to visit other museums in order for me, not just to appreciate our history, but to also know
the stories behind every artwork and artifact a museum has.
