hello
Hi everyone , today we are going to
present about the largest extant bears——
Polar Bears

accept it, and that is that. They live
with greater peace than people do.”

introduction
The polar bear is a hyper carnivorous bear
whose native range lies largely within the
Arctic Circle, encompassing the Arctic Ocean,
its surrounding seas and surrounding land
masses. It is the largest extant bear species,
as well as the largest extant land carnivore.
Facts about
Polar BEARS
● Black skin and hollow hair

● extremely dangerous animal

● classified as marine mammals

● can swim constantly for days at a time

● can extract polar bear DNA from footprints

● face more threats than climate change

What is the problem?

Polar bears are getting lesser in number

nowadays. Other than climate changing , other
concerns for polar bears include lethal response to
human-polar bear conflict, toxic pollution in the
environment, and direct impacts from industrial
development, such as disturbance of maternal
dens or contact with an oil spill, and potential
overhunting of some subpopulations. and more.
How can we help to save them?

We can all contribute to reducing climate change, and therefore help

polar bears and other endangered species. A significant cause of climate
change is the emission of polluting gases from burning fossil fuels, such as
coal and oil. Fossil fuels are burned when we use electricity or drive our cars,
among other things.

Here are just a few important things we can do to help reduce global warming:
1.Use our cars less (walk or take public transport whenever possible)
2.Use energy efficient light bulbs (these are available in most household stores —
encourage your parents and teachers to buy them!)
3.Recycle more and avoid products that have lots of packaging.
4.Turn off electric devices when you're not using them.
Use All these actions will help reduce the amount of pollution we create.

Summary
The Polar bear lives in the land or big floating
ice of arctic . Adult males can be 2.5 meters high
and can weigh from 300 to 800 kilos , while
females can be 2 meters high and weigh about
300 kilos . It is the largest extant carnivore in the
world , and it eats animals such as seals and
walrus.
The polar bear is now being nearer to
extinction as it’s number is falling nowadays.
Problems like climate change , toxic pollution in the
environment , potential overhunting of some
subpopulations are making them extinct.
We can take public transport or walk whenever
possible to replace the number of cars so that we can
lower air pollution. Other than that , we can also
recycle more and avoid products that have lots of
packaging . At last , turn off electric devices when
we’re not using them .These are the ways to save the
polar bears , in for a penny, in for a pound.
