10. Revision material will be provided on teams for students to go through. Papers will consist of IGCSE
questions

English Second Heather Broderick h.broderick_wek@gemsedu.com 10 –15 minutes ESL students will conduct a speaking assessment describing what they learned about a text (autobiography)
Language (ESL) covered in class. The teacher will ask them questions (similar to an interview) about the text and then about
themselves. They will not be allowed notes but we will prepare in class during the weeks previous.

55 minutes One Paper. Will include topics covered in Y9 and Y10:

Unit 1 Organisation (all of cells, organ systems, diffusion, osmosis, active transport)

1 lesson Students will be assessed on their ‘responding to’ (AO3) drama skills based on an evaluation of the ‘Macbeth’

analyse and evaluate production elements such as lighting, costume or sound, and also the acting and artistic
vision of the piece. This takes the same form as one section of the GCSE exam and serves as a practice for the
