Run8 V3 Redistributable Packages

Run8 V3 depends on a couple external Microsoft libraries common to Windows and DirectX.

If your sim crashes on startup or during loading, you most likely need to run these packages. We have
included them in V3's Redistributables folder for your convenience.

VC_redist.x64.exe
This is a Microsoft redist pack which contains some common library functions necessary for programs
created in C#. If the sim crashes before the Main Menu, you likely need to install this pack.

DirectX_Jun2010_Redist, aka "DXSetup.exe"

This pack contains some common library functions necessary for programs using DirectX-11, which
covers some of the graphics, audio, and input functions used in Run8. If you receive an "Invalid Audio"
message, installing this redist pack is the solution to that problem. Note: If you already have Run8 V2
running, you have probably already installed this.

This file can be downloaded from Microsoft, however, to save you some trouble, we've already included
the extracted files in the subfolder of the same name. Inside this sub-folder, find and run DXSETUP.exe

Note for V2 Users:

V3 does not use Microsoft XNA at all, and does not make use of the old V1-V2 conversion process which
also needed XNA. You do not need to have anything related to XNA installed.
