Materials and tools:

Yarn: NAKO Angora Luks (White #208, Yellow #1636), ALIZE ANGORA GOLD mohair
(Black#60)
– Safety eyes 8 mm
– Crochet hook 2.00 mm
– Stuffing (Polyester fiber fill)
– Tapestry needle
– Scissors
– Pins
– Stitch marker or contrast color yarn

If you use these materials, the finished toy is around 7 cm (2.75”) tall and 9cm (3.5”) long.

Abbreviations:
– MR: Magic Ring
– ch: chain
– sc: single crochet
– inc: increase
– dec: decrease (Invisible decrease)

– st/sts: stitch/stitches

Notes:
✓ Work in a continuous spiral unless otherwise stated. Do not join
rounds.
✓ Use a stitch marker or a piece of yarn to mark the beginning of
round.
✓ Crochet the kitty with tight stitches!

How to change the color of yarn: With the two loops from the previous yarn on the hook,
wrap the new yarn around the hook, then pull the new yarn through the two loops of the
stitch.

HEAD
Begin with white yarn.
Ch 4, start in second chain from the hook. Working in both sides of a chain.
• Rnd 1: 1 inc, 1 sc, 3 sc into the last stitch, continue the other side of the foundation

Start stuffing the head.

Stuff the head firmly with fiberfill

Fasten off and leave a long tail. Embroider the eyelash, the nose, and the mouth first.
Weave the yarn tail through the front loops of the last round and pull it tight to close the
hole. Leave the yarn tail for sewing.

EARS (make 2)
Right ear: Begin with yellow yarn.
• Rnd 1: 6 sc into a MR. (6)
• Rnd 2: (1 sc, inc) x 3 times. (9)
• Rnd 3: (Y) 1 sc, inc, 2 sc, inc, (B) 2 sc, inc, 1 sc. (12)
• Rnd 4: (Y) 3 sc, inc one time. (There are 2 sides of ears with 2 different lengths. The long
one will be sewed outside while the short one will be sewed in the middle of the head).
Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.

Left ear: Begin with yellow yarn.


• Rnd 1: 6 sc into a MR. (6)
• Rnd 2: (1 sc, inc) x 3 times. (9)
• Rnd 3: (1 sc, inc, 1 sc) x 3 times. (12)
• Rnd 4: 3 sc, inc one time. (There are 2 sides of ears with 2 different lengths. The long one
will be sewed outside while the short one will be sewed in the middle of the head).
Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing. Bring the ending yarn to sew the open side
of the ear together.

ARMS (make 2)
Right arm: Begin with white yarn.

ARMS BODY TAIL

ASSEMBLY: (video)
***Please watch the video carefully to make similar kitty***
You can use cotton embroidery thread or cotton yarn (if there are 4 threads, only use 2 for
embroidery)
– Embroider the nose with dark brown thread (around Rnd 1), 2 stitches wide.
– Use pink thread to embroider the interior of the nose.
– Embroider the mouth with dark brown thread between Rnd 2-3, 4 stitches wide.

– Sew the ears on the head between Rnd 11-12, the distance between 2 ears is 4 sts.
– Sew the arms on the body between Rnd 3-4, the distance between 2 arms is 9 sts.
– Sew the head on the body.
– Sew the tail on the body between Rnd 22-25.
