Important Information on Study Activities Before the Orientation

Congratulations on your Selection to the LNBTI Degree Program, which is designed to

provide a quality degree in the IT field, coupled with a sound Japanese study program which
will assist you to procure a stable job in Japan after the degree completion (Figure 1).
We expect you to pay your maximum attention to

the study related matters on a continuous basis so that
you will improve your abilities as you progress
thorough the academic semesters. Inability to do so, on
the other hand, may create difficulties to achieve your
objectives upon the completion of the academic
programs.
In addition to the academic matters, we encourage
you to actively participate to extra curricular activities
also since such activities also are quite important for you to build leadership characteristics.
Until your attendance to the Orientation Program in due time, LNBTI advises you to prepare for the
successful start of your academic program. In this connection, practice and complete the following activities.
Relevant tests will be conducted at the Institute from time to time.

Study materials relating to Japanese studies before joining the Orientation

(a) Hiragana and Katakana worksheets: (Attached File)

Please study these handouts and practice “Hiragana” and “Katakana” letters. Make sure you will be
able to identify, read, and write all these letters by the time you join the Orientation Program.
(b) Deepen your understanding about Japanese working and living environments by checking the
following links:
① Before You Come to Japan: What is Japan like? An introduction to politics, economy, culture, and
regions.You can have a good understanding about various aspects of the Japanese society by checking

Japanese language by checking appropriate topics through this link. Please check the relevent Youtube
