For me the most memorable festival is the Lunar New Year. Lunar New
Year is a very special traditional holiday in Vietnam. This is an
opportunity for all Vietnamese to have a good time looking back on the
past year and looking forward to new things in the coming year. During
Tet, spring fairs are held, the streets and entertainment venues are
brightly decorated, and most of the clothing and confectionery stores are
packed with Tet shoppers. In the house, everyone is neatly cleaned, and
food, soft drinks, flowers, and betel nut are displayed on the altar of the
ancestors. One of the activities that I enjoy the most is the Chung cake
package. Tet is also a time for peace and love. During the New Year,
friends, relatives, and neighbors give each other the best wishes for the
new year.
Success in any field is often a combination of perseverance, hard work and having
the right attitude in the pursuit of it. This world needs us to build in a different way
to create a path to continue to grow. Everyone has the ability to succeed in work,
the problem is that you know how to cultivate the right qualities and mindset to
become the best. If you are looking for inspiration to improve yourself and develop
to become a successful person, then you should not give up the following qualities,
which is the initiative to fulfill your dreams, and never stop making efforts to learn,
discover and cultivate. Knowledge that you are lacking people see what you can do
and do it in the most successful way. With that, I believe that in a short time we
will soon become a successful human
I would like to talk about an exciting holiday where I went to the city of
Nha Trang. Me and my friends decided to spend our holiday there
because we wanted to experience a different part of the country and see
life by the beach. There were so many activities but we were only able to
do just a few things on our three day trip. We got around the islands by
cruise which was an amazing experience for us because we all like
sightseeing. Taking part in the Vietnamese cuisine workshop was also
great fun. We bought fresh ingredients at the local flea market and
learned how to use a wok to fry fresh fish and other seafood like crab
and lobster. We absolutely enjoyed our holiday trip and we actually are
planning on another trip so we can try out more activities in the graceful
and charming Nha Trang.
Topic 7: Your beloved mother/father/sister/brother.
My mother is a person I admire most. Her name is Dinh, she is fourty-
five years old. and she has medium height with short black hair. She is a
little bit chubby, and her bright skin also makes her look younger than
her real age. My father is too busy with his work, so my mother has to
spend a lot of effort to make sure everything in the house is fine. I
admire and look up to my mother because she devoted a lot of time and
energy to the upbringing of my young brothers and I. Despite working
hard, she always made time to teach us many useful things which are
necessary and important in our later lives. Moreover, she is the first
person to show her face my mind whenever I have difficulties. She is
full of useful hints for me to solve everything. I often want to say ‘I love
you, mom’. For me, my mother is the most perfect woman in my life.
