Brief:
Brief one: Make a replica of the stage design from Hamilton with a working
turntable with variable speed controls and flashing white lights.

I choose this brief because it let me be as creative as I want with lots off room
for changes and design to make it aesthetically pleasing.

Phase 3: My preference Solution

and Justification:
-Presentation of my preferred design solution.
-Outline and justify the design decisions made to arrive at your preferred
solution
I decided to use Plywood when
manufacturing my turn table I choose this
as it gives off an clean and presentable
look to the project making it aesthetically
pleasing to look at. It also came to me that
the real stage for the Musical has a mostly
wood based stage and design so keeping it
Plywood would give it accuracy.
For the mechanical part of the project I
used a simple mechanism consisting of a
one way switch, two gears, a motor and a
Battery. I choose this design because it’s
the easiest to achieve and works best for
what I wanted to accomplish. This was
my first design idea and I choose to stick
with it as it was the best for what I wanted
to achieve.

This was not the only mechanism I wanted

to include into my project as I wanted
flashing white lights and a yellow lights on
the other side of the front panel. Originally I
wanted these to be connected to different
switches but the same battery I was unsure
if this was going to work so I used clips to
connect my original idea together. It didn’t
work so I decided to only go with white
flashing lights and those were the ones I
wanted most.
The mechanism I choose to use for this was
a simple one way switch battery and two
white flashing whites, then being flashing
lights mean theres no need for a resistor
