NARRATIVE REPORT ON MODULAR DISTANCE LEARNING

The Department of Education ensure that learning must continue and keeping its goal
“No learner must left behind” coping with current situation we are facing right now. According
to the weather reports from PAG-ASA recent conditions and model forecasts indicate that El
Niňo may emerge in the coming season (June-July-August) at 80% probability and may persist
until the first quarter of 2024. Due to the extreme heat, precautionary and safety measures should
be applied and implemented to ensure the safety of our learners as well as the welfare of the
teaching personnel of the school. And because of the current situation, Modular Distance
Learning is our opt to provide and continue education for our learners as the temporary mode of
delivering continuous learning to learners as it best applies to the community. With this, the
Bolintaguen Elementary School have realized the plan to distribute the module for the concluded
week.
In line with this, the parents arrived at school at exact time of releasing of modules
wherein during the process, health protocols and standards were tailed such as: wearing of
facemask, observing social distancing, temperature checking, handwashing, sanitizing, stepping
on the footbath. Right after, they advanced to the grade level where they got module but prior to
entering classrooms, they followed the same sanitation procedures prepared in every classroom.
They lined up while observing physical distancing while others were sitting waited their turn to
transact with the teachers for the modules and attendance. As soon as they received the modules,
the teacher instructed them the process involved in doing the modules and weekly home learning
plan and alike. They “go-home immediately” policy right after they received the modules was
also followed.
