The Christians believe in One God and this is very much in line with the Old
Testament God. But in the New Testament, Jesus never once taught that the God head
consists of a Triune God. We as Christians should always adhere to the bible warning of
never adding or subtracting from what the bible originally said.

Deuteronomy 4:2 (New International Version)

2 Do not add to what I command you and do not subtract from it, but keep the
commands of the LORD your God that I give you.

Then there is an explicit way spoken in the bible for which we can establish if a
matter is true or false. This mentioned way can be found numerous times written in the bible
to safe guard us from using our own intellect to extrapolate our own meaning of what the
bible is actually saying to prevent us from adding and subtracting from what the bible is
saying and not saying.

Deuteronomy 19:15 (New International Version)

15 One witness is not enough to convict anyone accused of any crime or offense
they may have committed. A matter must be established by the testimony of two or three
witnesses.

Matthew 18:16 (New International Version)

16 But if they will not listen, take one or two others along, so that ‘every matter may
be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.

2 Corinthians 13:1 (New International Version)

13 This will be my third visit to you. “Every matter must be established by the
testimony of two or three witnesses.”

These witnesses mentioned here means, facts, people’s testimonies, or scripture that
must be found in the bible alone and must not come from any outside source unless it’s an
older version of the bible itself.

The third way is that scripture cannot be broken, which means scripture cannot
contradict itself. By these three criteria, you can then safely interpret the bible scripture
properly to establish a matter. And I will be using these three criteria as taught in the bible to
interpret who is the Holy Spirit mentioned in the bible.

The title Holy Spirit means Holy and Spirit. God is Spirit. And only God is Holy.

Leviticus 11:44-45 (New International Version)

44 I am the LORD your God; consecrate yourselves and be holy, because I am holy.
Do not make yourselves unclean by any creature that moves along the ground. 45 I am the
LORD, who brought you up out of Egypt to be your God; therefore be holy, because I am
holy.

Here, I establish that God is Holy. Now I will show that God is a Spirit.

John 4:24 (New International Version)

24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”

Ephesians 4:4-6 (New International Version)

4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you
were called; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is over all
and through all and in all.

Here it is clearly stated that there is One Spirit and one God. It’s a singular word.

Joel 2:28 (New International Version)

28 “And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters
will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions.

God said in the book of Joel that he will pour out his Spirit on all people, which is the
promised Holy Spirit that Jesus sent to all approved believers. They can’t be saying different
things as scripture cannot contradict itself. So, the Spirit of God is the same Holy Spirit that
God poured or sent to people through Jesus. It is not a third entity in the God head, it is the
same Spirit of God that was apportioned and sent by Jesus to his believers. Only Jesus was
given this authority to baptised with the Holy Spirit of God. So is the Holy Spirit really the
Spirit of God, as I once prayed to know the answer and look where I found these two
different terms combined into one. Praise the Lord God for his answer to my prayers.

30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day
of redemption.

Here, without a single doubt that the Holy Spirit and the Spirit of God is combined as
One Spirit. Jesus himself said the Spirit of the Sovereign Lord which is God, is upon him but
the New Testament says the Holy Spirit came upon him. So, the mentioned of the Holy Spirit
is actual God’s Spirit, that’s why when Jesus mentioned his father and him, he seldom has to
include the Holy Spirit into his conversation because it’s the same as saying the Spirit of
God, his father. The Holy Spirit is therefore not a force nor is it God’s power but the actual
Spirit of the Lord God himself.

Isaiah 61:1 (New International Version)

61 The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD(GOD) is on me, because the LORD(GOD) has
anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the
brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the
prisoners

The Spirit of God and the Holy Spirit are being used interchangeably by the writers
without differentiation. And we should never interpret them separately just because another
term was used.

Matthew 3:16 (New International Version)

16 As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment
heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on
him.

Luke 3:21-22 (New International Version)

21 When all the people were being baptized, Jesus was baptized too. And as he was
praying, heaven was opened 22 and the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form like a
dove. And a voice came from heaven: “You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well
pleased.”

Here in the book of Matthew, it says The Spirit of God descended onto Jesus but in
Luke it says the Holy Spirit. Thus, isn’t it clear that the writers did not differentiate the Holy
Spirit from the Spirit of God, who is truly the Father of Jesus, as Jesus himself confirmed
with Peter and God himself confirmed by saying so himself. Now, lets look at what God said
about Jesus his Son. If the Holy Spirit is the third entity in the Triune Godhead, then we can
never be One in the Same Spirit as God, because the Spirit of God is not the Holy Spirit.

John 17:11 (New International Version)

11 I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world, and I am coming
to you. Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name, the name you gave me, so that
they may be one as we are one.

When Jesus said he is One with God, he does not mean he is God, it means he is in
One accord in One same Spirit as God. But the name Jesus is God’s own name as in Your
name given to me, So, the Son of God actually shares the same name with the Father. But
technically Jesus is God’s name, yet the son of God is still only an image of his Father God.
Father is the title that Jesus, the Son gave to his God. Jesus clearly said he did not come
using his own name but his Father’s own name. The name here does not refer to God’s
authority but is literally referring to a person’s name.

John 5:43 (New International Version)

43 I have come in my Father’s name, and you do not accept me; but if someone else
comes in his own name, you will accept him.

John 20:17 (New International Version)

17 Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go
instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my
God and your God.’”

Jesus calls God his Father. This is explicitly clear. And Only God the Father can be
greater than the Son. Jesus also confirms that there are things he did not know, therefore
proving that his Father is Greater than him.

John 14:28 (New International Version)

28 “You heard me say, ‘I am going away and I am coming back to you.’ If you loved
me, you would be glad that I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I.

Matthew 24:35-36 New International Version

35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away. 36 “But
about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son,[a] but
only the Father.

Then who is Jesus? He is the Son of the Living God just as the bible says. And by
His own confession and what God said.

Matthew 16:16-17 (New International Version)

16 Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”

17 Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to
you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven.

Matthew 3:17 (New International Version)

17 And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well
pleased.”

Luke 9:35 (New International Version)

35 A voice came from the cloud, saying, “This is my Son, whom I have chosen; listen
to him.”

John 3:16-18 (New International Version)

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever
believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into
the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in
him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because
they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.

The bible explicitly says Jesus is the Son of the Living God, nowhere in the bible did
it says Jesus is God the Son. If it is not written and somehow, we assumed this to be true by
inference then we are guilty of adding to the bible through human interpretation. The Bible
also never even once mentioned the Trinity, so if we say God is Triune then we are also
guilty of adding to the bible as there was never mentioned anywhere in the Bible that God is

Triune. Trinitarian doctrine is an addition to the bible which violates 1 John 2:22-23. Trinity
denies the Son and Father relationship by claiming the Son is the Father God by saying God
the Son. Its not biblical. God the Son never appeared anywhere in the bible, thus its an
added word that never existed.

1 John 2:22-23 (New International Version)

22 Who is the liar? It is whoever denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a person is the
antichrist—denying the Father and the Son. 23 No one who denies the Son has the Father;
whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also.

Here, it never mentioned the Holy Spirit as in the third entity because it’s known that
the Holy Spirit is God’s Spirit, that’s why it was never mentioned when Jesus talks about his
Father. This Trinity makes an unnecessary distinction in the Spirit of the Sovereign Lord as if
it is a separate Spirit when God only has One Spirit, the same One Spirit that he gave to
Jesus his son and us. There is truly no third person of the Trinity because he can’t be a
distinctly independent Spirit from the Spirit of God.

John 8:18 (New International Version)

18 I am one who testifies for myself; my other witness is the Father, who sent me.”

Here would be the best place for Jesus to show the Trinity by quoting that the Holy
Spirit as his third witness but yet again Jesus never mentioned the Holy Spirit at all because
the Holy Spirit is his Father’s same Spirit of God. To him they are integral so there is no
need to include the Holy Spirit as his witness.

So why did I say the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God? Here is the final point that I want
to show the proof.

Mark 3:28-30 (New International Version)

28 Truly I tell you, people can be forgiven all their sins and every slander they utter,
29 but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; they are guilty of
an eternal sin.”

In this verse, Jesus clearly stated that whoever blaspheme against the Holy Spirit of
God will not be forgiven. If the Holy Spirit is the third entity, then does it mean we can
blaspheme God and Jesus the Son, we can speak all manner against the Son but not
against God for God is Holy. Consequently, the Holy Spirit has the same level of reverence
spoken by Jesus. Here is another verse from the Book of Acts.

Acts 5:3-5 (New International Version)

3 Then Peter said, “Ananias, how is it that Satan has so filled your heart that you
have lied to the Holy Spirit and have kept for yourself some of the money you received for
the land? 4 Didn’t it belong to you before it was sold? And after it was sold, wasn’t the
money at your disposal? What made you think of doing such a thing? You have not lied just
to human beings but to God.”

5 When Ananias heard this, he fell down and died. And great fear seized all who
heard what had happened.

The Holy Spirit is referred to as God very clearly in this verse. And the Holy Spirit is
also equated Holy fear by Jesus. Only God is the one we can never blaspheme. Therefore,
the Holy Spirit in the Bible is always referring to the same Spirit of God, interchangeably.

In conclusion, there is always the Son of God Jesus (Yeshua), and his Father God
Jesus (Yeshua) and there is only One Holy Spirit of God which is the Sovereign Spirit of
God, indicating there is only One True God in one Spirit. Thus, satisfying the Shema of
Israel. There is only One True God and He is One not three. And there is only One Begotten
Son of God whom God sent to save the world on his behalf. That’s what my Bible says
explicitly clear and precise. No addition nor subtract, and no human opinion or human
extrapolation; strictly derived from the bible itself. This is the only truth that does not divide
us from the same Almighty God of the Jews. This is not a ‘Jehovah’s Witness’ doctrine nor
the Iglesia Ni Cristo, it’s from the Bible. Both the JW and the INC claims that the Holy Spirit
is a force or power and tool. Which is not true, the bible says you can grieve the Holy Spirit,
buy you can’t grieve and impersonal force or power.

We worship the same Biblical God of Moses, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the Only
One True God as One Lord not three as described by the Trinitarian or the Oneness
Pentecostal. We also believed that to be a true Christian, you must receive the Holy Spirit of
God to make you One with Jesus and God in the same Holy Spirit of God. Using what I have
shared as the true relationship between God the Holy Spirit and Jesus his Son to read the
entire bible will now face no obstruction.

Deuteronomy 6:4-5 (New International Version)

4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one 5 Love the LORD your God
with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.
