The Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration aims to train business professionals and entrepreneurs who are committed to society. It combines the
most rigorous theoretical knowledge with a practical focus in order to train professionals who are able to resolve problems. The goal is to respond to
challenges, join together and ensure an international focus. We offer students the
opportunity to take part of the programme at foreign universities. These are key values of UIC Barcelona. We also encourage practical experience and
teamwork, on the basis of which we can enhance your ability to implement projects.

Programme structure
During the course, you will study across a range of modules, including but not limited to: Business Law, History of Economics, Mathematics,
Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Accounting. Many of the lecturers in the Faculty are active professionals in their respective fields, which means that
students learn to approach future problems in a way that is real. From the very first year, you will be in contact with company directors and
businesspeople who will teach you the key knowledge you will require on a daily basis in the world of work. You will be able to apply this knowledge later on
during your work placements in companies such as Ernst&Young, KMPG, Mango, Roche, etc.

simulation of a company involving competing teams, which emphasizes business development and accounts.
During the second year, you will deepen your knowledge of the fundamental areas of a company and continue the language courses and Career Starter.
You will also perform a minimum of 8 weeks of internships as an assistant in a functional area of a company.
The third-year is when you will undertake your specialization. You will be able to tailor your academic program and select one of our professional
itineraries, a functional area of a company, and an international elective subject, in addition to continuing the language classes and the Career Starter.
Through the professional itinerary you will specialize in a sector or business area by choosing from the following: Fashion and luxury management; Digital
marketing; Digital and Social Entrepreneurship; Doing Sustainable Business.

TBS is a multi-campus business school and its students can enroll on either the Toulouse or the Barcelona campus, as well as change campuses during
the program. During each of the 3 years of the business management degree, students can study in Barcelona, Toulouse, or Casablanca, and at one of
over 100 universities with which we have collaboration agreements. The exchange semester is compulsory for all students, except international students
who may opt to stay at a TBS campus.

The bachelor's degree in International Business is aimed at students with an interest in the economy and the corporate world in an international context
and in the main languages in the business world, as well as in cultural differences and the ability to adapt to them. The programme provides students with
knowledge specifically adapted to business, organization, and institution management in the context of internationalization. It also enables students to
learn the main languages used in the business world since it is taught entirely in English and includes several Languages for Business subjects, including
German, French, Italian, Russian and Chinese.

Alongside subjects on different functional areas in companies and on how the economy operates, from an international perspective, students also take
subjects on aspects of mathematics and statistics, law, culture and business in different parts of the world. Students must take a compulsory subject in
English for business and three on languages for business and may take up to two more optional subjects in German, French, Italian, Russian or Chinese.
Students may (and usually do) complete one semester or year at an international university and may also take up to four optional placement subjects at
the UB or abroad.

Progression after the programme


Successful students will have the skills to pursue a career in management and executive positions in import and export firms, multinationals, public
bodies and institutions (regional, national and international) involved in economic development and trade promotion, and non-governmental
organizations involved in international cooperation activities.

The Autonomous University of Barcelona also known as UAB is a public
