AIMS:

By the end of the lesson students will be able to:


 To properly use the forms of the Past Simple -Affirmative/ Negative/ Interrogative;
 To practice the forms of past simple and the new vocabulary in different contexts;

METHOD: communicative approach, the total physical response, the grammar.

SKILLS: speaking, listening, writing.

TECHNIQUES: mini discussions on the topic, individual repetition, exercises, cooperative learning.

MOTIVATION: student – centred.

ASSUMPTION:

 the students may have troubles in using the new structures, which means that the teacher must be ready to
explain them again through examples;
