My Top 3 Favorite Mobile Apps

Duolingo
Duolingo is a free mobile app that features a fun and effective way to learn a new language from the
selection of more than 40 languages. Among the languages I can learn from this app are Japanese,
Korean, Vietnamese, Spanish, French, Italian, English, and many others. It is rated 4.7 stars by Android
users who download this app in Google Play. I can practice speaking, reading, listening, and writing the
language of my choice to build my vocabulary and grammar skills. It is a game-like lesson, so it is a fun
and interactive way of learning the language. This app helps me learn more about how to write and read
Japanese characters using this app.
One feature of this app is that it will show words in Roman then the user has to pick the correct
translation of the character.
Another feature is that the app will say a word and the user will listen to it and will learn the correct
pronunciation of the character.
Another feature of this app is that it will show you how to properly write the characters whether it is
slanted, stroking down, or writing up.
So, if I’m bored and I would like to spend my time efficiently, I open this app to have fun and learn new
languages.

TikTok
TikTok is a widely known app in our generation. It is another free mobile app that is the number one
choice by users for Social Media platforms. If I want to watch short mobile videos, TikTok is my go-to
app. On TikTok, short-form videos are exciting, spontaneous and genuine. My favorite feature on TikTok
is watching short videos of movies, comedies, dancing, and other content from a diverse community of
creators.
I can also create and share my own TikTok videos and a chance to go viral which potentially can earn
money based on the number of views and subscribers.
There is also a For You Page in this mobile app which is a feed of videos that are recommended based on
the activities of the users in this app.
Like other social media platforms, your followers can react to your posted videos. Also, if you don’t feel
like posting the videos you just created, you can store them in your drafts, so you are the only one seeing
them.
The duet features allow users to film a video aside from another video. This can only be used if both
parties adjust their privacy settings.
TikTok also features TikTok Pulse, an ad revenue-sharing program. It covers the "top 4% of all videos on
TikTok" and is only available to creators with more than 100,000 followers. If an eligible creator's video
reaches the top 4%, they will receive a 50% share of the revenue from ads displayed with the video.
I usually spend my time watching videos on my TikTok account and I usually spend my whole day with
it. LOL!

GCash
GCash is another favorite mobile app on my iPhone and it is rated 3.4 stars by users under the Finance
category. It is a mobile wallet app that lets me pay bills, buy loads, send money, and pay my cart in online
shopping instantly with the use of my fingers.
This app allows me to send money in real time to Gcash and PayMaya users. This also allows me to send
any amount to multiple people at once with Ang Pao.
With GCash, I can transfer funds instantly to any major back account in the Philippines and save bank
account details for future fund transfers.
Another reason why GCash is one of my favorite is that you can pay utility bills without going out. You
can also save favorite billers and set payment reminders, so I won’t forget.
I always use GCash to buy load anytime and anywhere to myself and anyone to all networks instantly.
Also, GCash can receive remittances and PayPal funds online from MoneyGram or Western Union.
The newest feature of GCash is the GCredit which extends your budget by having GCash’s mobile credit
line which is based on your GScore. GScore can be built by using GSash frequently.
