Action : Celebrate the uniqueness of Malaysian heritage and culture

1. Display pictures of traditional costumes on the board.

I. PRE-LESSON
2. Pupils talk about the costumes.
3. Introduce traditional musical instruments to the pupils by displaying flashcards on the board.
4. In groups, guide pupils to use google/kiddle to search for information of these instruments
II. Activity 1

5. Pupils share the information with their shoulder partner and face partner.
6. Pupils imagine that they are invited to attend these events. (appendix 1)
III. Activity 2 7. Carousel : Pupils work in groups and move from one station to one station, discussing each
situation as they go.
8. Pupils watch the video.
IV. Activity 3 9. Round table: In groups, pupils discuss what will they do in this situation.
10. Groups share their ideas with the class.
V. POST LESSON 11. Close the lesson by telling pupils to be proud of our culture and heritage.
