I AM CHANGE – 2 Cor 5:17 "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold,

all things are become new. "

question - did you really change? What change?
Is Change: salary increase? Job promotion? Hair discoloration? Life situation? CHANGE! That’s what people today are looking for! Rally! Look around us: Fight for
change! – The Government! policies! law! regulations! cost of living! Change is what we’re looking for! But this change won’t happen w/o fulfilling 2Cor 5:17
TRUE CHANGE can only be found in Christ! “Through Christ by grace, a brand new soul,
No longer a publican, He made me whole.”
Now tell me Where? Where would we be w/o Christ? What? What kind of future would we have?
"I am changed" (sing bro!)– a declaration that holds thoughtful significance in every believer’s life. 2 Corinthians 5:17 captures
the essence of this transformational truth: "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold,
all things are become new." – New Heart! Mindsetting! Life! Song! Thoughts! Plans! Job! This promise of transformation anchors
hope in Christ's power in our lives.

In 2 Corinthians 5, Paul encourages the Corinthians to remind their new identity in Christ, emphasizing the reconciliation
achieved through Jesus' sacrifice on the cross. But in their transformation were often overlook the life-changing offer ever
made—the transformation that comes through Christ Jesus. This truth remains relevant today.

God's Word reminds us that when we come to Jesus Christ, our old self is crucified with Him, and we are reborn as new
creations. Paul declares in Galatians 2:20 "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live
in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. "

As believers, we are called to examine our lives in light of this transformative truth. This is not merely to boast a religious
label but to truly appreciate the change that comes with being in Christ. Let's journey through the Scriptures to understand
the depth of this transformation:

1. The new birth in Christ is the gateway to transformation. Jesus said in John 3:3 "…Except a man be born again, he cannot see the
kingdom of God." – if all the people in the world were born-again, born in spirit, this world will be the same again! Why? Because…
2. The old nature was crucified, and conquered sin. Romans 6:6 "Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin
might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin." – we are changed and sin is no longer a dominion in our lives!
3. The old self was put off and the new self was put on. Ephesians 4:22 "That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man,
which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts" - our former conversation – walk! talk! dress! & conduct our lives were changed!
4. New Job become representative of Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:20 "Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by
us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God."
Through Christ's ministry of reconciliation, we were transformed to continue His ministry to reconcile others also to God.
Paul continues in 2 Corinthians 5:18 "And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of
reconciliation;" – we are changed and now God wants us to use for His glory! We are his representative, we are the last
generation who is holding/ living/sharing the truth in His Word!
The burden of the wages of sin, guilt, and shame is lifted, and we are clothed in righteousness. We are renewed and
unashamedly confess “I am changed” from: wicked /godly! sexy/modesty! gambling/praying! tabloid/bible! adulterer/preacher!
gamer/prayer! I am no longer a publican, it is a radical change that reaches every fiber of the core of our being!

As we walk this journey of transformation, let us fix our eyes on Jesus Christ, the author, and finisher of our faith (Hebrews
12:2). He is the one who makes all things new, the true source of hope and lasting change. Our lives are no longer defined
by the past but by the glorious transformation found in Him.
Brethren, the message of transformation is central to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Through faith in Him, we are made new,
leaving behind the old ways of sin and embracing a life of righteousness and holiness.

Let us always remember that true transformation is a continuous process, requiring the Holy Spirit's work for fruitful
change in Christ. Romans 12:1 -2 "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable
unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is
that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."
Question! Are you really in Christ? Is there any change? Let's test ourselves
1 Corinthians 10:31 KJVS
Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.
