    Difference Between Bryophytes and Algae

    Algae
    1. SEX ORGANS
    Oogonia is the female sex organ.
    2.EMBRYO FORMATION
    The zygote does not form an embryo.
    3. ALTERNATION OF GENERATION
    Alternation of generation is usually isomorphic.
    4. EXAMPLE
    Chlorella, Laminaria, Porphyra etc.

    Bryophytes
    1. SEX ORGANS
    Archegonia is the female sex organ.
    2.EMBRYO FORMATION
    Zygote forms an embryo.
    3. ALTERNATION OF GENERATION
    Alternation of generation is always heteromorphic.
    4. EXAMPLE
    Marchantia,Funaria etc.
