COURSE DESCRIPTION This course provides an in-depth exploration of economic development theories, policies, and strategies. Students will examine the factors that
contribute to economic growth and the challenges faced by developing economies. Through case studies and real-world examples, students will gain
a comprehensive understanding of the complexities and dynamics of economic development.
LEARNING OUTCOMES At the end of this course, students will be able to:

2. Evaluate the role of institutions and policies in promoting economic growth.

All students of this course are expected to be prepared in class. He or she is expected to take all examinations on mandated schedules by the institution. Late
examinations require a special examination permits issued by the accounting office. He or she is expected to actively participate in each class.

F. ACADEMIC DISHONESTY

Academic Dishonesty includes the following actions:

G. POLICY ON ABSENCES
Students enrolled in this course shall only be allowed to have 3 absences for the whole semester. Attendance shall be checked for every classes . Request for Excused
absences or waiver of absences must be reported upon returning to the class. Special examinations will only be allowed on special cases such as prolonged illness, official
school tour, or alike. It is the responsibility of the students to monitor their tardy incidents that might accumulate leading to Dropped or Failing Grade. It is also their
responsibility to consult the instructor, the program head, or the dean for their case of special nature.
