After watching the MVL of this module.

I can see why Aristotle’s poetics in the foundation of

tragedy is important in the literary genre. To discuss this properly. We first need to know what
tragedy means in the literary genre. According to the MVL Tragedy is a form story in which the
main protagonist of the story is burdened with something. This burden could be something thy
are aware of or not. It could come from their families, communities, or other factors that aren’t
directly connected to them. The elements in a tragedy are plot, character, diction, thought,
spectacle, and song. But the most important are the first two being plot and characters. That is
because the plot is how the stories go. It sets the world and how the stories is played out. And
characters are essential to the plot because it keeps it going especially for the main character i.e.
The protagonist. The protagonist is someone that the audience can relate to. It is the perspective
that is followed most through the plot. These characters must be relatable in some sense they
shouldn’t be perfect. They should have other values that doesn’t challenge the morals of the
viewers. And the reason why viewers or readers are attracted to his stories. Is that they have a
charm in which watching/reading about someone having a burden that they need to find out how
to deal with it. And to see them overcome these struggles to them it is relatable to some extent.
And some of them might even be inspired to cae their struggles head on.
