We ♥ History, we learn a lot about the past!
Yesterday at nine o´clock we had History at school. We found information about Dinosaurs with Google. We made a
poster with the information and compare some dinosaurs. Some of them were really different!
These are some of them:
The ELEPHANT BIRD
The last ELEPHANT BIRD died in 1649. This creature was an enormous and heavy bird. It had a long neck
and a small head. It had a big body, wings and two short legs.
The elephant bird lived on the island of Madagascar. It was three metres tall and weighed four hundred
and fifty kilos. Not surprisingly, it couldn’t fly. Their eggs were really big, over three feet in
circumference!
PLESIOSAURUS
PLESIOSAURUS was a reptile that lived during the Jurassic period. It was not a
dinosaur, but it was similar to dinosaurs. It lived in the sea. It was from three to
eighteen metres long. It had a small head, a long neck and tail and four flippers.
They could probably walk on land. Some people believe that the Loch Ness Monster
is a Plesiosaurus. Flipper
