1. Spelling List - Teacher prepares a canva presentation in which all the Spelling words have their meanings and are
represented with stickers (pictures with movement), Ss have to copy each word on their Spelling notebooks, they have
to write the word and the meaning. Ss make sentences with each word by oral. Then, Ss repeat the words five times.
2. Cambridge Path 6 Student Book – Students turn to page 96. Ready to read nonfiction? Reading. Strategy. Rereading. When
you don't understand part of a text, reread it more slowly and think about the meaning of each word. Rereading will improve
your vocabulary and comprehension. For exercise, one read the flyer. When you don't understand something, stop, go back
and reread it. Underline the sentences you reread in red. For exercise 2, which sentences did you reread? What do you think
the sentences mean now? For exercise three, imagine a city of the future. What do you think it will look like? For exercise

four, while you read the text on page 97 - 98, mark any passages you reread in red.
3. Cambridge Path 6 Activity Book – Student turn to page 83. For exercise one add the vowels to the words. On exercise 2,
choose the correct words to complete the sentences
4. B1 Preliminary - Students turn to page 60. For exercise four, look at these typical part three questions and unfinished
statements. Underline the key words in each. For exercise 5, quickly read this paragraph and answer these questions. For
exercise six look at this question underline the keywords and then read the paragraph above more carefully try to answer the
questions in your words. For exercise 7, now look at the options ABC and D which best matches your own answer in exercise
6. Check your answer. Why are the other options wrong?

2. Cambridge Path 6 Student Book – Students start to page 97. Teacher asked students to look at the pictures on page 97 and
98. What can they see? What can they tell that the reading is going to be about by looking at the pictures? Students will take

the whole page, students will go to page 99. For exercise one, which sentences did you read? What do you think these
sentences mean now? For exercise two, we read each section of the text and answer the questions with the partner. On exercise
3, how does the city and the text compare to the city you imagine? Compare and contrast with a partner. For exercise 4, find
these words in the text and circle them. Then choose words with the most similar meaning.
3. B1 Preliminary – To page 61. For questions 11 to 15. Choose the correct answer.

book, students go to page 69, Exam Practice. Test 2. Reading Part 6. For each question, write the correct word. Write one
word for each gap.
