STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

I Harsh, holding Passport no. W2042101. My DOB, 17 July 2001. I've submitted my application to the
Deakin University’s Master of Information Technology (Professional) program. Regarding my
academic, I completed my 10TH from CBSE in 2017, and 12 TH from same board in 2019 with 79.4%.
Afterwards, I did Bachelor of Computer Application from KUK in 2022. I scored overall 58 PTE exam
held on 15 October 2022. Though, India is enriched with top universities that provide quality
education but there are many detectable flaws in Indian education system. But the most ideal
destination for studying Information Technology is Australia. Deakin University ranked top 1% of
universities worldwide, top 50 young universities in the world and it is ranked 266 in QS World
University Rankings 2023.

This degree will provide me with the in-depth knowledge and practical hands-on expertise to
influence and reinforce an organization’s technology infrastructure and support the people who use
it. After completing my course, I will be returning back to my home country, India. There, I can work
as Software Engineer, Programmer/Analyst, etc. My long term plan is to become a
Programmer/Analyst in India. The average salary for a Programmer/Analyst is ₹600,500 per year.

As part of the financial arrangement for my desired education, my parents will fund my studies and
stay in Australia. Throughout my time Australia, my father and mother will be my sponsors. Both my
parents are working and have a good source of the annual income (INR 14, 39,350). We also have
movable and immovable assets. Though, I will miss my family during in Australia but I will be back
after completing my studies. As I have the responsibility of my family and my country. I have to take
care of all the assets that my family have.
