EXCURSION TO MONTE CARLO & NICE

Join us for a visit to luxurious Monte Carlo
and the seaside town of Nice, located in
France. Our visit will begin in old
Monaco, where we will see the changing
of the guard in front of the Prince’s
Palace. After a visit to the Cathedral, a
walk through St. Martin’s Gardens will
complete the tour. Afterwards, we will
take a lift to rejoin our coach, and head
towards Monte Carlo itself, to one of the
five areas belonging to the Principality of
Monaco. Monte Carlo is the kingdom of
luxury, with five-star hotels and casinos
all perfectly set in an atmosphere that
epitomises the “Belle Époque”.

In the afternoon, we will proceed on to our

next destination, set on the nine
kilometres of coast known as the Bay of
Angels. Nice boasts nearly fifteen
beaches, delimited by the large hotels
built along the “Promenade des Anglais,”
famous since the early 1930s. During the
walk around, and before your free time,
you will see the principal points of interest
of this seaside city: the Opera House, the
open-air markets, the Church of Mercy,
the Church of Saint Reparata, and the
Law Courts.
