 sources of information consulted; SHELL's safety manuals, checking local regulations https://www.nfpa.org/ , some of the important conventions

- the hazards; Management System., ISO 14001 Standard: Environmental Management System., ISO 50001 Standard: Energy Management System.
- what is already being done; and https://www.iso.org/home.html
- any additional controls/actions that
may be required.
 I visited the gas station and spoke to the workers had one on one conversations with managers senior manager
and their safety officers about their policies. On my site visit first of all met with HSE manager, he guided and
briefed me about onsite hazards and existing control measures, he also shared me inspection records,
incident reporting data and previous year risk assessment report and audit report as well. I took notes of
important points.

Regular toolbox talks were conducted at garage; workers were in proper off shore dresses., i also observed at the
service station there were no proper safety signs mentioned, then after my observation at the service station i
checked their records which are illness records, customer complaints records, accidents risk records. By going
through all the sources and visiting practically i came to know that additional control measures were needed

There is need of health and safety policies at this gas station following the ILO and ISO articles just like the official
shell Pakistan is operating around the country, proper sitting area in the garage, proper safety signs for the
awareness of the safety, improvement in the control system CCTVs were not operating well.
