Q-1 Draw the orthographic projections for the Fig.-I shown below by using First [14]
angle projection method. Give proper dimensioning.

Q-2 The Major and Minor axis of an ellipse are 120 mm and 80 mm respectively. [08]
(A) Draw an ellipse by using Oblong Method. Also draw its Normal and Tangent
at any point on a curve
(B) Draw an Involute of Hexagon 22 mm side when a string is unwounded [08]
from it. Find the length of string for one complete wound. Also draw its
normal and tangent at any point on a curve.
(C) A rolling circle of 20 mm radius rolls outside of directing circle of 80 mm [10]
radius. Find the angle of revolution of a rolling circle. Name the curve and
also draw its normal and tangent.
