[KIND OF SPEECH:ROASTS]
[SCENARIO: I was appointed Maid of honor at Daniella's wedding]
INTRO:
Good afternoon everyone, I'm Maxyne, I’m sure some of you already knew me as the hysterical girl from school all
those years ago. Your probably wondering how I'm allowed to give this speech and to be completely honest with
you, I am too. But here I am standing before you today of having the honor to be Daniella's maid in honor.
BODY:
Now let's start off with some good qualities of Danny here, shall we? And unlike her I'm not going to walk away
Daniella has always been a resourceful and creative woman. She had visions; could think of ways to make difficult
things work, could think of ways to roast your entire bloodline, and could think of ways on somehow roasting her
own in complete accident. I would know, I’m forever sun burnt. One memorable achievement concerning that was
when she had put a delinquent in his place and looked absolutely crazy doing it.
The day when our dear groom here had went down on one knee in front of her, I remember feeling grateful.
Grateful that the man didn’t throw away his chance in proposing to a lovely woman and equally as grateful that
Danny didn’t throw a bible at his face. Nobody was harmed and no nose was broken this time.
I commend you for not letting her bluntness scare you off. Her words come from a good place really. Honesty is
one of her strong points, even if does she comes off as a jerk most if not all the time.
The memories made with Danny are a mixed bag, but majority is rather fond. Like how majority of her fond pets
are dogs. Mostly silly, many times dumb, but are always there when they need it.
[CONCLUSION:]
I don't think that giving me permission to make this speech was her brightest idea ever. But in all seriousness, I
can't fully express how happy I am to be your maid of honor and I hope that speech was to your liking. May your
A toast to the groom, and a toast to the bride. May you two be always satisfied
