HUAWEI 2024 Bursary Program which is aimed at supporting and nurturing promising students in specific
fields of study.
This prestigious opportunity is available for students in their final year of study, pursuing degrees’ in
Engineering, including Electrical (Light Current), Electronic, Computer, and Telecommunication.
Additionally, the bursary extends to students in the fields of IT and Computer Science as well.
This initiative reflects on Huawei's commitment to fostering excellence and innovation in these significant
spheres of study.

Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible for this incredible opportunity, you must:

• be a South African citizen, either by birth or descent;
• have acquired average results from your most recent examinations equal to/above 65%;
• be an equity student (African, Indian, or Coloured);
• provide proof of 2024 acceptance: university course application/provisional in one of the following fields:
i. Engineering (Electrical (Light Current), Electronic, Computer, Telecommunication);
ii. IT;
iii. Computer Science; and
• be in the final year of study in 2024.

Application Requirements: To complete your bursary application, ensure you have the following
supporting documents:
• Certified Copy of ID (not older than 3 months): Provide a certified copy of your valid ID, ensuring
it is not older than three months;
• Proof of Application or Provisional Acceptance: Include evidence of your application or provisional
acceptance for any of the specified courses (refer above), for the academic year 2024;
• Academic Record/Transcripts: Submit complete academic records or transcripts stamped by the
university; and
• Student’s CV: Present a comprehensive Curriculum Vitae highlighting your achievements, skills, and
experiences.
