Learning Episode 2: MODELLING

Directions: In a maximum of 3 sentences, assess the appropriateness of design based on the

clients’ features.

Picture A

Sample answer: Based on the model’s feature, wide shoulders, full bust, undefined waist, slim hips, flat
bottom, and slim legs the garment design is appropriate. It fits with the models’ body shape which is
inverted triangle, making it look beautiful and emphasize the good features of the body and conceal the
flaws such as slim legs.
Picture B

Sample answer: Based on the model’s feature, round shoulder line, full bust, undefined waist, large tummy,
flat bottom, and slim legs. The garment design is not appropriate given that the model’s body shape is oval,
it’ll make the model even look bigger and shorter.

Note: The teacher will show different pictures of garment design appropriate on clients’ features.
