INTRODUCTION

Doseplinadong Tindahanan is a small business run by


young entrepreneurs of Grade 12 students taking the
strand of Accountancy, Business, and Management at the
City College of Calapan. The business operated during the
Intramurals event, at Oriental Mindoro National High
School, on September 30 and 0ctober 1, 2023.

The business is a one stand store selling convenient


foods, such as prepackaged snacks, biscuits, and
crackers. As well as, different types of drinks, ranging
from mineral water, soft drinks, fruit drink, and
flavored beverages. That are purchased as bulk in a local
supermarket, and sold in a budget-friendly price, that is
afford by many.

The primary target audience of the business are the


food enthusiast, nearby people, teaching and non-teaching
personnel, that is looking for an affordable snacks and
beverages to satisfy their hunger and tiredness.

To ensure that the expectations of customers are


meet, while also maintaining a healthy profit for the
enterprise’s success. Marketing research is conducted,
wherein interviews and surveys are used to gather data
and collect information before implementing the business.
This initiative led the enterprise towards introducing
products to be in the market, in line with customers’
inevitable demand.

Doseplinadong Tindahanan is poised to make a


significant impact on the business field through offering
products that meets the customers wants, in exchange of
an affordable price. With a prime location, dedication to
satisfaction, and quality products, it will surely
establish a significant market share and a strong brand

presence that shall leave an impact to the customers. So,
when hunger strike, remember discipline is the name,
serving quality is the game of Doseplinadong Tindahanan.

OBJECTIVES

To build a strong reputation in the business field


and contribute to the local economy.

To achieve and maintain the profitability and


generate more income and provide return on investments.

To provide excellent service for customers and


ensure their satisfaction.

To make Doseplinadong Tindahanan an adaptable and


trusted business.

METHODOLOGY

This study was conducted to determine the customers


preferences, opinions, and perspectives in a new
launching business that directly involve them. In order
to answer these objectives, the study used a qualitative
research design to present and describe the obtained
information on what is the needs, wants and suggestions
of the entrepreneurs' target customer for their business
Doseplinadong Tindahanan. Specifically, a total of 30
respondents from students of the City College of Calapan
participating on the 2023 Tagislakasan Intramurals were
randomly selected to make up the sample. These selected
participants, answered survey questionnaires consisting
of five questions covering significant topics relevant to
the enterprise. Data gathered from this research
instrument were then tallied and interpreted into context
to derive meaningful insights that will then be used for

the implementation of the business named Doseplinadong
Tindahanan.

RESULTS AND DISCUSSION

This section presents the results and discussions


derived from a comprehensive survey and questionnaire
conducted on Doseplinadong Tindahanan enterprise. The
questions encompassed a range of topics related to the
launching of enterprise, including the products customers
usually buy in terms of food, their preference among
meals, snacks, or desserts, their financial allocation
for food purchases, the potential impact of a food
enterprise at City College of Calapan, and their
receptiveness to innovate product offerings. This study
gathered insights from 30 respondents, all of whom were
participating in the 2023 Tagislakasan Intramurals that
also represent as the targeted market of the business.
The data analysis reveals several findings: foremost, the
majority of students cited junk foods as their primary
food purchase, closely followed by beverages. Secondly,
when considering preferred food categories, snacks
emerged as the top choice, trailed by desserts, with
meals being the least favored category. Thirdly, the
financial perspective of the respondents indicated a
willingness to spend between Php 50.00 to Php 100.00 on
food. Additionally, all respondents expressed enthusiasm
and deemed it as a privilege if a new enterprise is to be
established within City College of Calapan. Lastly, it is
found that almost all respondents agree and are
interested in purchasing innovative products, such as
pancakes, bread rolls, banana chips, and mini donuts.
These findings underscore the critical importance of
understanding the preferences, demands, and needs of the

target customer base. In order, to align product
offerings effectively. Such alignment significantly
contributes to the enterprise's success and sustainable
profitability by mitigating the risks associated with
launching a new business venture.

CONCLUSION

In conclusion, Doseplinadong Tindahanan a business


selling prepackaged food and beverages, implemented a
strategic decision to conduct thorough marketing research
before launching their enterprise. Inclined with their
purpose of investigating the importance of conducting
marketing research before implementing a new business in
the market. The results showcase the pivotal role of
undergoing into a process of marketing research in
achieving business success. By investigating into market
dynamics, consumer behavior, preference and competition,
Doseplinadong Tindahanan gained a comprehensive
understanding of the market landscape.

This in-depth research was instrumental in shaping


their business strategy. It allowed them to align their
offerings with consumer preferences and needs,
positioning their products effectively. Understanding the
competitive landscape enabled them to identify unique
selling propositions and potential areas for
differentiation, giving them a competitive edge.

The experience of Doseplinadong Tindahanan


underscores the invaluable importance of marketing
research for entrepreneurs. It is a compass that guides
decision-making, providing insights to adjust their
business plans, adapt to customers inevitable wants, know
who the target audience are and remain responsive to

changing consumer demands. This knowledge equips
entrepreneurs with the necessary tools to navigate
challenges, make the most of their resources, have a deep

In essence, future entrepreneurs who are interested

RECOMMENDATIONS

After implementing Doseplinadong Tindahanan and


conducting surveys. Several key recommendations to
elevate customer satisfaction and optimize business
performance are suggested for future entrepreneurs
thinking of implementing a new business similar to the
enterprise. Firstly, diversifying the product range to
align with consumer preferences and market trends is
essential. The introduction of new and appealing
convenient products can attract a broader customer base.
Additionally, prioritizing budget-friendly pricing is
crucial. Moreover, optimizing inventory management based
on survey data is vital to ensure the right products are
consistently in stock, thereby enhancing the overall
shopping experience. By doing so, the store can
effectively cater to a wider audience and meet the
growing demand of customers. Furthermore, continuous
monitoring of evolving consumer preferences regularly is
vital to stay relevant and adapt to the dynamic marketing
landscape. Lastly, effective marketing strategy that
catches customers attention, can boost visibility and
