Dear Mayor DAYONDON:

The League of Local Government Accountants of Zamboanga del Sur will conduct its
1st regular monthly conference for calendar year 2023 on January 13, 2023 at Hotel
Guillermo, Pagadian City.

This conference aims tackle on some issues and concerns that we encounter in
performing our respective duties and responsibilities. It is our utmost desire to maintain the
same understanding and interpretation on government accounting rules and regulations to
maintain uniformity of implementation in our respective agencies. Despite the busy
schedules of all accountants, we see the need to meet at least once a month for our regular
monthly conference.

Some of the matters that needs to be discussed are the following”

1. Closing of Books for C.Y. 2022
2. BIR Updates on reduced tax rates for compensation for CY 2023
3. Annual Planning
4. Other Matters
a. PHALGA Updates

Anent to this, we are requesting the presence of your Municipal Accountant to attend
the said conference. A registration fee of P1,500.00 will be collected to defray the expenses
for the said conference subject to laws, rules and regulations governing such.
