    REFRACTION

    Rainbows, atmospheric refraction, distortion of underwater objects, telescopes, and prisms.

    REFLECTION
    The surface of smooth pool water and a light reflecting a mirror.

    ABSORPTION OF LIGHT
    The pigment color of leaves of plants which absorbs the blue and red wavelengths of the
    spectrum and reflects green, making leaves appear green.

    TRANSMISSION
    Tinted glasses on a car. Illumination due to sunlight in a room. A drinking tumbler made from
    glass material.
