APPENDICES
The Toka Tindung project will utilise process, mechanical and electrical equipment
recovered from the El Tambo gold plant in Chile and incorporate some aspects of the El
Tambo plant design.
The design will also incorporate some aspects of a previous design completed for the
Toka Tindung project by Proteus in 1998/1999.
The numbering systems for the project have been set up to minimise as much as possible
the amount of engineering design work required to incorporate existing items consistent
with producing clear and consistent documentation for construction of the new plant.
Area numbers are generally borrowed from the equivalent El Tambo area numbers except
where this would clash with Area numbers in those sections of the previous Toka Tindung
design that are being retained in the current design. For example, Area 21 in El Tambo is
already an assigned number in Toka Tindung, so this changes to Area 30 in Toka
Tindung.
MCCs will be numbered after the Area in which they are located.
AR-CO-nnn-Mn
Where:
nnn : Three digit sequential number, unique to the Area and Commodity (tied to AREA).
Mn: (Optional) Additional single alpha (‘M’) and single digit sequential number (‘n’),
reserved to provide unique identification of individual motors within the same
equipment item.
The equipment numbers from the previous Toka Tindung design will be used for new
equipment in the following areas, because these areas are being installed in accordance
with the original design without significant changes, except that commodity codes will be
revised as necessary to match the list in Appendix B:
Area 6 Water
Area 10 Magazine
Area 22 Workshop
Area 25 Fuel
Area 71 Reagents
AR-dn-FL-nnnn-Spe
Where:
FL : Two alpha Fluid Code shall be as set out in “05057-SM-004 Specification for
Piping Material and Valves.
nnnn : Four digit sequential number, unique for each fluid code without duplication
throughout all project areas.
Spe : One alpha, two digit Pipe Spec shall be as set out in “05057-SM-004 Piping
Material and Valve Specifications”.
dn – Vttt - A
Where:
dn : Nominal diameters shall be the nominal valve size in mm (two or three digits).
The Client drawing numbers will match the format of the previous Toka Tindung design as
follows:
AAA – AR – A – XXXX
where:
A: One or two letter identifier for the engineering discipline as listed below.
XXXX: Four digit sequential number. Sequential numbers for new drawings shall start
at 1000 in each discipline group to differentiate them from existing drawings
from the previous Toka Tindung design that are being re-used for this project.
