Meditation

With meditation teens can reduce their anxiety and depression by practicing mindfulness
techniques that help them focus on the present. Learn how to accept our thoughts and
feeling without causing any worsening symptoms or feelings.

Another benefits of practicing meditation are: improve self-esteem and self- awareness,
focus and concentration and reduce physical pain.

If the “How?” is a problem for you, here some tips:

• Set a time limit; if you’re just beginning, it can help to choose a short time, such as five or
10 minutes.

• Find place to sit that feels calm and quiet to you.

• Follow the sensation of your breath as it goes in and as it goes out.

• Don’t judge yourself or obsess over the content of the thoughts you find yourself lost in.
Just come back.

And that’s it!!! Be kind and gentle to yourself, you deserves to be happy.

And remember that mental health is the most important thing and so are you.
