*Please note that the billing due date has changed. To better serve students and allow payment closer
to the start of a new term, the due date will now be the 20th of each month. In addition, charges for Fall
2023 for undergraduate students will look a little different as we roll out our new tuition model. For
more information on the Simplified Tuition model, please visit https://www.umkc.edu/cashiers/tuition-

This is a notification of billing, not your actual invoice. To view your full billing statement, please log
into Pathway at pathway.umkc.edu. If you have e-consented on Pathway, this may be the only billing
notification that you will receive.

The Monthly Billing Statement for your financial account at the University of Missouri-Kansas City has been
prepared and is ready to view online. Please note that the adjusted amount due above may include pending
financial aid that has not been accepted on your student account. Removal of these credits may increase your
total adjusted amount due and minimum payment calculation. To verify financial aid awards and to view the
current monthly bill online, please visit pathway.umkc.edu.

Please note: Employees may be unable to access the online statement and will need to contact the Cashiers
Office to obtain a billing statement or make payments.

PAYMENT OPTIONS:
• Online at pathway.umkc.edu (Instructions can be found on our website at www.umkc.edu/cashiers):
o E-Check - a convenient and free way to pay from your checking or savings account online.
o Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express credit cards - convenient payment options
with a service fee applied to each payment.
• Mail - send your check to the address on your billing statement.
• In person with cashiers or personal check - visit UMKC Central at Administrative Center Rm 120, 5115
Oak Street, Kansas City, Missouri.

Admissions, Financial Aid and Scholarships, Cashiers, and Registration and Records services. Open a

 Monthly Billing Statement. Unpaid Adjusted Amount Due is subject to a 1% monthly finance charge. A late fee
will be assessed on your next statement if the minimum payment is not received by the due date.

5You can add an Authorized User to your student account. There are two types of Authorized Access as it
relates to your student finances. To allow another person to discuss your account with us, sign on to the
Student Center via Pathway at pathway.umkc.edu, click on the Personal Information tile and then the
Information Privacy menu option. "Additional Authorized Access" allows another person to access your online
Pathway account and "FERPA Release" allows the UMKC Cashiers Office and other Student Services to
release information verbally to the named individual. For financial information access online, you will also need
to give access through TouchNet for that party to view and pay your bill. This is added by logging into
TouchNet, accessed through Financial Account on Pathway, and by adding the individual as an Authorized
User there. Authorized Users may have access to either or both systems. No one will be allowed access
without first being established as an Authorized User.
