a) Please obtain the first four natural frequencies of the following clamped-free beam.

b) Please draw the first four mode shapes of the system.

c) If the boundary conditions were changed to clamped-pinned, would you expect to obtain
lower natural frequencies compared to the clamped-free case? [10 marks]
