SUN DEVIL CAMPUS STORES HOSTING VENTURE DEVILS POP-UP SHOP EVENT

Phoenix, AZ – The Sun Devil Campus Stores are excited to host a pop-up event at the Tempe Campus
Store patio on March 12, 2024, in collaboration with the Venture Devils, a student-made organization that
focuses on strengthening and supporting Sun Devil entrepreneurs launching or growing new businesses.

All students, faculty and community members are welcome to shop, support and connect with student
entrepreneurs selling a variety of products ranging from apparel to art and more from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on
Arizona State University’s Tempe Campus at 525 E Orange St., Tempe, AZ 85287. Students will sell
their products while gaining valuable experience in consumer relations, visual merchandising, and the
logistics of running a retail event.
The Venture Devils are housed under the J.Orin Edson Entrepreneurship + Innovation Institute (Edson
E+I) at Arizona State University. The institute dedicates itself to entrepreneurs by providing resources and
mentorship as well as fostering a supportive environment for student entrepreneurs planning out their
business ventures.

The institute supports two retail venture experiences for students: Student-Made at ASU®, an
e-commerce site run by and featuring goods and services created by ASU students, and Retail Devils, the
goods-based program within the Venture Devils program

Through mentorship, funding opportunities, and networking events, Venture Devils has empowered
students to navigate the difficulties of entrepreneurship and turn their visions into reality. The Venture
Devils have awarded more than $450,000 dollars to student ventures each year with a community of over
a thousand teams enrolled in the program. The organization currently has 40 dedicated Venture mentors
ready to offer guidance and encouragement to student-members.
