We are honored to inform you that the book "Compendium of Pharmacologic Techniques: In vivo
Methods”, has been published and is now available at the Department of Pharmacology and College of
Medicine, UP Manila. The book is a collection of guidelines for conducting different pharmacologic
experiments that are being utilized by the Department and the National Integrated Research Program on
Medicinal Plants-Institute of Herbal Medicine (NIRPROMP-IHM). Additionally, it covers specific subjects
on plant raw material processing, Good Laboratory Practices, and animal handling. This book is the result of
many years of collaboration between researchers from NIRPROMP-IHM and teachers in the UP College of
Medicine Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology.
In line with this, we would like to extend a copy of the book to your office as a token of our appreciation for
your utmost support in this endeavor. This project would not be possible without the help of the university
