Subject: Consultant’s Works – Jan 30 to Feb 4, 2023
Hi Sir,
Good day!
Sharing Consultant’s Report for the Week
Jan 30
Discussion with Engr Patrick/Engr Albert
Please consider the following:
ON BOQ Revision
1. BOQ for Legaspi. Submit Jan 25, 2023
1.1. for MCC and electrical works, please follow the cost/tr derived from Dumaguete
1.2 for fabric duct, please follow 2,600 per meter since we are using 700mm dia, 250 pascal ESP
2. BOQ for Alaminos. Submit by Jan 25, 2023
1. for MCC, please do the same as above, derive the cost/tr on EE works
2. for fabric duct, to follow the 2600 per meter.
On drawing revisions
1. for Alaminos, we can use the 8 units of 41TR LSQ160 but adopt the template of Roxas
Palawan. We need to raise the chiller, by adopting the platform to compensate for the effect of
the roof which can cause short cycle on the airflow discharge of Aircooled Chiller. We need to
adopt the chiller configuration platform for the Grand Marina. Please coordinate with Rirance
regrading roof elevation. Another cheaper option is to provide fan duct extension for the blower
without exceeding the 70 pascal ESP if platform will be an issue.
2. for Legaspi, consider the MCC layout and pump room layout
Please consider shipping cost similar to 50 to 60 k for Alaminos and 100k for Legaspi as part of
General Mobilization cost.

Please update our BOQ for the above subject project based on the latest data provided by
AEDIS. Reissue to Rirance the BOQ based on the attached development. Also, please
incorporate provided details and attachment tools on our design drawings for standardized fabric
duct design.
Incorporate in our general notes the following
1. Fabric duct shall be 40% permeability of ductwork for condensation control.
2. Fabric duct shall have minimum of 30mm to 40mm dia at 8 to 10 air outlets per 1.2 meter
length.
3. Thickness of fabric duct shall be capable of handling 125 pascal to 250 pascal external static
pressure operating range

Comments on Submitted Nicotra Proposal as discussed with Engr ManuelB
Re: Stainless blade as per specs vs proposed GRP – To resubmit
Hi Denzel,
Good morning.
I noticed a different specs was submitted with the use of Glass reinforce plastic material instead
of what we have in the specs of stainless blade for SHF.
Please note the fan shall be used for Smoke Exhaust and therefore we would need the previous
specs of aluminum or stainless blade which ever is economical for the project.
