REMEDIAL IN READING

The following students have been undergoing the Intensive Reading Remediation
Program since last year to further improve their reading and comprehension skills. The
language teachers of Grade 8 requested assistance from one of the master teachers of
elementary department who is known for her expertise in teaching reading for
beginning ang struggling readers.

This program would not have become possible without the help and support of our
colleagues in Grade 8. Their commitment and compassion are highly appreciated not
only by the students but also by the parents. These are the things that we do in order to
bridge the learning gaps and difficulties in reading of our students. We firmly believe
that, if we just continue to do what we have started, the progress, no matter how big or
small will eventually be seen and observed by us all.
