CIRILO BAUTISTA

-Cirilo F. Bautista was born on July 9, 1941, in Manila, Philippines. He was a prominent Filipino poet, fictionist,
critic, and educator.

-Bautista earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Santo Tomas and a Master of
Fine Arts degree from the University of Iowa. He has gained recognition for his literary works that delves into
