Getting Started . .

Connect to Device(s)
1) Launch the application from the main
workstation. Look for this icon:

2) When you see this message, click on ‘Ok’


3) Default landing page will be as follow. List of devices to be connected to.
4) In the list of devices, click the row (of that Column Status will indicate if device has been connected.

Add New User
1) On the Main Page, click on Employees icon

on the top-left, as shown in image.

2) Employees List will open in another


window.

3) Click on the company name. ④ ⑥

4) Click on ‘Add’ icon.



5) Enter new User name.
Other fields are optional.

6) Click on ‘Save’.

7) Repeat steps 4) to 6) to continue adding


new user(s).

8) Remember to sync new users to device,
before you register their enrolment in the
device. Refer to page 13.

Update Existing User
1) On the Main Page, click on Employees icon

on the top-left, as shown in image.

2) Employees List will open in another


window.

3) Click on the company name. ⑥

4) From the user list, select the user to edit.



5) Amend the required fields.

6) Click on ‘Save’.

7) Remember to sync updated users to List of current users


device, but exclude the fingerprint option.
Refer to page 13.

Delete Existing User
1) On the Main Page, click on Employees icon

on the top-left, as shown in image.

2) Employees List will open in another


window.

3) Click on the company name.

4) From the user list, select the user to ③


delete.

5) Click on ‘Delete’. Confirm deletion when
prompted.

6) You will need to remove user at device List of current users


too.

1) On the Main Page, click on Device Management menu.

2) Then, click on ‘Upload user info and FP’

You will see 3 sections here – Left Pane, Middle Pane and Right Pane.
Left Pane shows the organization and department (if any),
Middle Pane shows the list of current users in the application (workstation). Labelled as ‘User’
Right Pane shows the list of devices connected to this workstation. Labelled as ‘Device’.

Selecting the user(s) to be updated to device

3) Click on Company Name on the left pane . Current user list in application database will be shown. By default, all users will be selected.
4) If you would like to sync only selected user(s) to the device (i.e newly added user, or renamed user), click on Invert All to unselect all users from
the middle pane. Notice that the ticks in all checkbox disappears.
5) Click the checkbox of the user you would like to sync to the device.

Selecting the device(s) to be sync to:
6) On the Right Pane, select the device you would like to sync to. By default, all connected devices will be selected.
7) If you do not require to sync to all device, click on Invert All from the Left Pane.
8) Click the checkbox of only those device to be sync to.
9) Check all information has been selected correctly. Click on ‘Upload’ to perform update to device.

Sync Device to Application
It is suggested that this action is performed for the following case only:
1) Delete user from device
2) Remove of password / facial recognition / fingerprint
3) Reset of password remotely.

1) On the Main Page, click on Device Management menu.

2) Then, click on ‘Download Userinfo and FP’

You will see 4 sections here – Left Pane, Middle Pane, Right Pane and Delete Pane.
Left Pane shows the list of connected device(s)
Middle Pane shows the list of current users in device.
Right Pane shows the list of users found in application database, but not found in device. If any, do remember to upload them to device, or delete.
Delete Pane is for remote deletion of users or their credentials.

Delete user/ Remove fingerprint/ Facial registered/ Password pin from device.

1) Click on Device on the left pane.


2) Click on Browse Users in device. Current users in the selected device will be shown. By default, all users will be selected.
3) If you would like to make deletion to a specific user only, click on Invert All to unselect all users from the middle pane. Notice that the ticks in all
checkbox disappears.
4) Click the checkbox of the user you would like to delete from the device.
5) Select the radio button from the options in the Delete Pane. Ensure the radio button is colored.
6) Click on ‘Delete’ button to confirm deletion.

Deletion Options:

a) Only Finger  Remove fingerprint registered in device.


b) Only Face  Remove facial recognition registered in device.
c) Only Password  Remove pin registered in device.
d) Delete Users  Remove user entirely in device.

Do ensure that you select the correct option!

Reset password remotely.

1) Go to Employee List (Refer to Page 7) to navigate.
• Employee List  Select User
2) Click on ‘AC Options’ tab
3) Enter new password in field ‘Verify PSW on Device’
4) Unselect checkbox ‘Use access group timezone’
5) Click on ‘Save’ button.
6) Next, you will need to sync this password to the device. ①
Refer page 13 on the steps to sync to device.
Do exclude ‘Fingerprint’ on the sync page.

Search and Export Attendance Record
1) On the Main Page, click on AC Log icon on

the top-left, as shown in image.

2) Search page will open in another window.

3) Select Name from dropdown; All names, or


individual name.

4) Set date period to retrieve record.

5) Click on ‘Search. Record will be displayed. ③



6) To export records, click on Export button.

Points to Note:
• Only 1 workstation (recommended to be server PC) shall be the database to all the connected
devices.

• This application does not support sync to multiple workstation (PC, Laptop). It can sync to
multiple devices only.

• Administering of User Information to be done on the Attendance Management software


application on workstation.
 Remember to sync User Info after every add!
 IF updating an existing user, remember to ignore Fingerprint when sync

• Administering of enrolment and setting of Timezone rules to be done on the individual


device(s).

• Deletion of user information needs to be done at both application and device.

The above timezone has been configured according to Customer’s requirements. Same set of Timezone is replicated for
all devices to avoid Timezone No. confusion.
As a staff may have different Timezone set at L1, and L2 respectively, any changes to Timezone to staff will need to be
updated at both device.
