OUTSIDE CHIP SHOP DAY

Establishing shot of SLINKY and BINGO sat outside the chip
shop with ROLO walking towards them but in the distance.
Long shot of SLINKY and BINGO from the front sat outside the
chip shop, both watching towards the right.
A human appears from the right and walks across the screen,
showing below their waist, as the cats heads follow above the
screen where the humans head would be.
ROLO walks into screen and groans as he sits down.

BINGO
Finally got here did ya, you old cat?

Intense eye contact builds between ROLO and BINGO

ROLO
Shut up, you’ll be like this when you get old
BINGO
I know, I know, you need to take it slow and careful
after falling out of that tree the other week, what
is it you’re down to now? 4 lives?

ROLO looks away from BINGO breaking contact in a sigh of

defeat.

SLINKY spots human walking towards them.

SLINKY
Guys! Guys!

HUMAN walks in front of cats, bends down and places fish in

front of all of them
All CATS gasp and then start eating

ROLO
This is so good
SLINKY
Yummy

CATS continue eating but they suddenly as a bird flies in and

hits the window with a loud THUD

Camera shows inside of glass of bird slooping down. Then goes

back to the cats. BINGO jumps up.

BINGO
SHHHHHH don’t wake him up, this is my lucky day.

Rolo gets up.

ROLO
Back off him, he’s mine.

The cats close in on the bird in an up shot. SLINKY begins to

stand up and watch from a distance looking unsettled.

SLINKY
(Uneasily)
Come on guys, someone is coming. We might get some
fish.
BINGO
You can have the fish, I’m going to have bird for my
tea.
ROLO
Oh no you are not. I am!
BINGO
 Just let me deal with it, we can sort it out in a
minute.
ROLO
Go sit back down, I can get him.

BIRD starts to wake up blinking eye. The CATS stop. BIRD

regains consciousness and gets up.

BIRD
WOAH! WOAH! WOAH! WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUS DOING?
ROLO
Well I’m just about to have my tea.
BIRD
NO YOU’RE NOT, BACK OFF!
BINGO
Back off ROLO, let me deal with him
ROLO
Don’t you think that it’s better for someone who is
more experienced to sort him out?
BINGO
(getting more agitated)
I actually think that I can deal with this all by
myself.
ROLO pounces at bird before Bingo can. BIRD flies away. ROLO
hits glass and starts to fall. BINGO laughs.

ROLO gets up and groans as he starts to walk back to where he

was sat.

SLINKY
You know, if you guys didn’t fight so much you could
have had him before he woke up.
ROLO
Yeah… yeah.
