Our tutoring service is strategically positioned at the intersection of Pag-asa St. in
Caniogan, Pasig City, ensuring convenient access for students. Situated near Arellano
University Pasig Campus, Rizal High School, and Pasig Catholic College, this location
attracts a diverse range of clients. The presence of nearby bookstores and student-friendly
cafes further enhances its appeal, drawing more students to our center.
Our primary objective is to establish a supportive learning environment that fosters
academic success for students. Located in this place, we prioritize offering a comfortable and
easily reachable space for our clients, particularly those attending nearby educational
institutions.
Since our business is a tutoring service, we will have an office space designed to cater
tutoring needs and provide workspaces for employees.

Location Size
To ensure its efficacy and appropriateness, a site size study for a student tutoring
program serving Grade 11 ABM (Accountancy, Business, and Management) strand should
take into account these listed factors:
● Accessibility. The location should be easily accessible to students enrolled in the
ABM strand. Our tutoring service was located near the Arellano University Pasig
campus, making it easy for students to go to and from their scheduled tutoring
sessions. Additionally, accessibility via public transportation is taken into
consideration when choosing the location to ensure that students can easily commute
to and from the tutoring center.
● Capacity. The size of the facility was adequate to accommodate the expected number
of students attending tutoring sessions. Our tutoring center can accommodate at least
5 students at a time inside the facility. We consider factors such as the number of
learners who prefer to receive tutoring service at tutoring centers and learners who
prefer to receive tutoring service at the comfort of their home and other locations.
● Community Demographics. In addition, we consider the socioeconomic status,
educational background, and cultural variety of the intended student body as well as
the demographics of the surrounding community. The tutoring program may be more
 successful at this site because it is located in a community where there is a large
number of ABM students.

Location Facilities
● Comfort Room. The facility features a comfort room located at the back for easy
accessibility, ensuring convenience for all tutors and students. Placing it strategically
at the back minimizes disruptions while maximizing privacy and comfort for users.
● Storage/Meeting Room. The facility has a storage slash meeting room, combining
spaces to maximize utilization. Here, we store materials and supplies, and employees
and tutors can also take breaks to rest and eat. This multifunctional area optimizes
space while providing essential amenities for work. We calculated that the
 development of this area would cost at least Php 10,000 in order to achieve the
desired amount of area for our facility.

Equipment, furniture and fixtures

● Computer. Having a computer is important for managing a business smoothly. It
helps with tasks like keeping records, printing documents, and tracking customer
payments and orders. It makes managing the business and serving customers easier
and more organized.
● Desk and Chairs. Desks and chairs make tutoring sessions organized, letting students
focus on learning. They encourage communication between tutors and students
making it easier to track progress effectively. Moreover, having assigned seating helps
establish an atmosphere of concentration and academic involvement.
● Shelves and Cabinets. To maintain an easily accessible collection of tutoring
materials, it is essential to have shelves or storage units. These storage solutions not
only help maximizing the space but also ensure the protection of books and materials
from potential damages or loss.
Supplies
● Workbook. In our packaging, we will provide a workbook for our clients. These
workbooks help them to practice what they’ve learned during our tutoring sessions,
reinforcing their understanding.
● Pencil. Learners will use pencils to answer the workbook and other practice exercises
we provide. Using pencils allows for easy correction and adjustments, helping
students to learn from their mistakes. Also, they can use pencils to take down notes
during the tutoring session
● Yellow pad paper. Clients can use yellow paper for taking down notes during the
session. Also, the color of yellow paper can help improve focus and make notes
easier to read.
● Basic Calculator. For basic calculations like addition, subtraction, multiplication, and
division are common in accounting for tasks such as tallying expenses, calculating
profits, or balancing budgets. It helps students perform mathematical operations
quickly and accurately.
● Plastic envelope. Help students organize and store tutoring materials such as
workbooks, pencils, and papers, keeping them neatly arranged and easily accessible.
 It is lightweight and portable, allowing students to carry their tutoring materials
conveniently.

Utilities
● Electricity. Meralco. In our tutoring facility, we require electricity for our computers,
mobile phones, computers, lights, and air conditioning. We anticipate paying between
Php 3000 to Php 5 000 in electricity bills each month.
● Water. Manila Water serves as our water provider. ..Water is necessary for drinking
and maintaining cleanliness. To maintain a healthy learning environment and provide
tutors and students with water, our facility must have access to clean water. It also
satisfies the facility's basic requirements for operations, like having a stock room or
meeting space and clean facilities. A minimum monthly water cost of PHP 300 to
PHP 500 is what we expect.
● Internet Connection and Telephone. Converge ICT Solutions. To accommodate our
clients both online and during our in-person tuition, we view high-speed internet
access as a must. We require an internet connection to access digital software libraries
and use educational materials platforms and applications. This is also required for our
online tutoring service, where some sessions are conducted via special learning
software or video conferencing services like Zoom. Tutors and students can make
easy appointments and reschedule sessions based on their convenience with the help
of telephone services, which will facilitate smooth learning development. The
telephone has changed the way educational help is provided, starting with online
tutoring sessions and continuing with customer service. The projected monthly costs
would be in the range of PHP 2000 to PHP 3000.

Waste Disposal
Our garbage disposal consists solely of papers, which we intend to shred before
disposing. Paper disposal can be managed by recycling, reducing, and reusing it. We can put
them in containers for recyclables. To make disposal easier, we intend to shred our paper into
small pieces.
