Observation of Teaching Learning in Actual School Environment
FS 1 The school Environment
The idea of the school environment being one of the most important factors in the successfulness of student's learning is correlated with the idea of "nature vs. nurture" in the child and adolescent development, particularly the principle about what the "nurture" wanted to emphasize about the child's develop- men. This principle believes that there are environmental factors such as the people and the environment around the child, social relationships, etc. that influence the students learning and development. This means that the school campus as the important facility where students learn must give positive input for students and must help the students in shaping their values and help them grow as a person.
DAY 1: CLASS OBSERVATION
My time observing was not only educational for me on how to become the teacher I desire to be, but as well as how to better myself as a student and improve my own learning. Field Study 1 was indeed a great way to start my field study journey! It helped me understand how learners vary with their characteristics, behaviors, needs and development. It also gave me the idea how the learning environment affects the student’s learning. During my fieldwork, I observed many ways the teacher adjusted her lessons to accommodate different learning styles for her students to enhance their learning. This made me think of my own cognitive learning style and how I learned and processed information. I found that when you’re a teacher, your education never stops. Teachers are always trying to improve their own education and professional growth, both for the benefit of their students and for the benefit of themselves. Some ways I plan to accommodate student diversity in my teaching is to maintain a diverse learning environment for my students. DAY 2: FLAG CEREMONY AND AWARDING FOR BOY SCOUT Don Ricardo Bris Central Elementary School is committed to provide quality basic education through the concerted efforts of the teacher and other stakeholders. Our mission is for every student to reach their full potential through rigorous teaching in a learning child in school. The school receive an awarding from Boys Scout of the Philippines. This day the student rises their flag ceremony. And as a pre-service teacher we guide the student during this flag ceremony . DAY 3: HAVING ACTIVITIES IN MATH AND DUTY IN RECORDS Today, we have activities for our students, and our subject is math. The children are happy because they enjoy what they are doing, they work together and they really participate. And we are just guiding their work, so we are happy to observe what they are doing. And when it was 3:00pm, we went to the record section of the school so that we could help with any work that assigned to us, and that's when we were given a task to do and that's when we started to work. in our work. DAY 4: OBSERVATION FOR MY CRITIC TEACHER This day we observe in our critic teacher in the classroom and listen carefully and observe her strategy on how we deliver her discussion. DAY 5: TEACHER’S DAY CELEBRATION It is a day to celebrate how teachers are transforming education but also to reflect on the support they need to fully deploy their talent and vocation, and to rethink the way ahead for the profession globally. DAY 6: WE HAVE ACTIVITIES IN OUR STUDENT This day, we entered the classroom of section Apitong because there was no teacher to enter them, so what we did was we did an activity, and that was "spelling words". And that's why they were so happy that we did this activity for them. DAY 7: WE CELEBRATE THE INDIGENOUS PEOPLE IN DON RICARDO BRIZ CENTRAL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL Indigenous peoples have rich and ancient cultures and view their social, economic, environmental and spiritual systems as interdependent. They make valuable contributions to the world's heritage thanks to their traditional knowledge and their understanding of ecosystem management.
