DECLARATION
Iwould like to declare that this project has never been presented before any
other scientific forum. Any presentation that seems to align with part(s) of our
concept is purely coincidental.
TITUS MAINA
I have checked this document and confirmed that it is good for presentation.

We have used many numbers to test the divisibility test of seven both
big and small numbers and concluded the method is applicable.
INTRODUCTION
OBJECTIVES/HYPOTHESIS
LIMITATIONS
Procedure
1. Write down the given number
2. Consider the last digit and find out all the multiples of seven
which end ends with a same number
3. Subtract the number given with the multiple of sevn which
you have got.
4. Ignore the last zeros which and again consider the last
number which is not a zero. Follow the same procedure until
at long last you get zeros or a number which is not divisible
by seven.
5. If the last number gotten after subtraction are zeros, arrange
all the numbers multiplied by seven in the multiples used
from the last to the first and multiply them with seven to
confirm whether you will get the initial number.
OBSERVATION
If the last digits gotten after subtraction are zeros the
number is divisible by seven and if the last number gotten is
a whole number which is not a zero and is not divisible by
seven then the whole number given is nt divisible by seven.
Variables
Multiples of seven
The number to be tested.
CHAPTER FOUR
DATA ANALYSIS AND INTERPRETATION
Testing whether 16,933 is divisible by 7
1680
(7*4) -28 (here 28 is used since it ends with 8)
140
(7*2) -14
16933 is divisible by 7
Example 2
To test whether 3101 is divisible by 7
3101
3080
(7*4) -28 (28 is used since the last number is 8 and 0 is ignored)
280
000 (the last digit gotten after subtraction are zeros so the
number is divisible by seven)
After subtraction we can prove that the number is divisible by seven because the last digits are
zeros and when we multiply back 443 by 7 we get back 3101
EXAMPLE 3
21341
2132
2090
160
I this case the last digits gotten after subtraction is 16. When we get back to the multiples of
seven the multiples of seven which ends with 6 is 56 so 16 is not divisible by 7 and it can not be
subtracted by 56 to get final zeros. Since at long last we have not gotten zeros we can prove
that 21341 is not divisible by 7
DATA INTERPRETATION
As the original number proceeds to be subtracted and the zeros are ignored the number goes
on decreasing and becoming smaller and smaller. Many numbers were used and tested thus
this method is accurate.

CHAPTER FIVE
This method is suitable for learners since it is easy and faster to do and it also saves time and
increases creativity and thinking of a student. Many numbers were tested and the method was
proven to be accurate.
RECOMMENDATION
I would wish to do further research on this project and make it perfect with the help of the
government and our school.
