Highlights
Teacher Dropout, this category refers to teachers who are low in commitment as
well as low in abstraction. The teachers under this category are becoming
disheartened with their profession and does not do anything about pupils’ low
performance. With these, most likely students may experience several challenges
such as lack of engagement, limited learning opportunities and potentially
impacting their academic performance that will result to incompetent students.
The Unfocused teacher, the teachers under this category may lack direction or
clarity in their teaching approach. They might struggle with classroom
management, lesson planning or engaging students effectively. Lack of focus can
lead to inconsistency in teaching methods. An unfocused teacher can disrupt the
learning experience and hinder students’ ability to thrive academically. It is
essential for educators to maintain focus and commitment to ensure the best
possible outcomes for their students.
The low committed but highly abstracted teachers are the ones who have ideals
and theories about teaching but lack of commitment or practical implementation.
They may prioritize abstract concepts over practical teaching methods. It is
essential for teachers to balance abstraction with practicality and commitment to
ensure that all students can effectively learn and apply the concepts being taught.
The professional teachers are dedicated committed and continuously strive for
improvement in their teaching practice. They demonstrate effective classroom
management, engage students actively in learning and adapt teaching methods to
meet learners’ needs. Professional teachers can empower students to develop them
holistically, preparing them for an increasingly complex and dynamic world.
